In preparation for DSE 2010, Digital Signage Expo has rolled out a new Web site designed to more effectively address the informational and educational needs of the diverse sectors that comprise the digital out-of-home industry.
The new site, which mirrors the planned educational offering at DSE 2010 and expands on our effort to offer year-round news and information, features 20 different digital signage end-user sectors, ranging from arts, entertainment and recreation to transportation.
Each dedicated page offers a convenient one-stop resource for end-users to find news, features, case studies, videos and education related to their industry sector. Visitors can browse the site for the latest digital out-of-home news or drill down to find industry research and other helpful information.
The launch of the site also coincides with the opening of registration for DSE 2010. In addition to showcasing the largest number of digital signage exhibitors gathered under one roof, the seventh annual staging of the Digital Signage Expo offers an unparalleled educational experience.
The conference consists of 40 industry peer-led seminars (expanded from 30 in 2009), 38 Lunch & Learn Roundtable industry-specific discussions and 16 on-floor Workshops, with more than 160 speakers — and that’s just on Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 24-25.
Pre-show events on Tuesday, Feb. 23, include the SPEED Digital Signage Training Program, the Digital Signage Certified Expert Program and the new DSE Digital Out-of-Home Advertising Summit.
The design of the new Web site provides an industry-specific curriculum guide to help attendees sort through the wealth of seminar choices and identify both topics germane to their needs and peer-presenters in their respective industries.
“DSE 2010 will have new educational opportunities and a vastly increased number of client end-user presenters so attendees can not only benefit from the topical information but also see how that information is applied in organizations like theirs,” said Chris Gibbs, executive president & COO of ExpoNation LLC, the producer of Digital Signage Expo.
