Monitor-Stands.us.com, a DisplayShops Web site, has recently unveiled a dual-monitor stand for digital signage applications. The stand’s 10-foot height provides greater visibility and impact over standard single monitor displays.
“Digital signage has become a mandatory addition for proprietors, retailers and trade show exhibitors,” said Sandra Reno, marketing analyst at Bristol, R.I.-based Monitor-Stands.us.com. “For those looking for additional emphasis, a dual-monitor stand can display two monitors simultaneously, running two different kinds of digital content.”
The 10-foot dual monitor stand features a simple knockdown design with black anodized finish. Three sections employ collapsing trusses that screw together and into the base without the need for tools. According to the company, this quick assembly is a welcome feature for installers, especially at trade show exhibitions.
Two VESA monitor mounts are attached to the stand, which can support (2) 50-inch monitors weighing 150 pounds. Monitors can be mounted in portrait or landscape configurations, or a combination of both. The stand itself weighs 77.5 pounds.
“For transporting, the stand knocks down into two carrying bags,” added Reno. “The truss sections are fabricated from anodized aluminum and the base is medium density fiberboard with a black powder-coated finish.”
